Be Honest

Be honest.

Be willing to grapple with the fact that you too are the villain in someone’s story.

That you were the cause of someone’s darkest days.

Be able to admit when you’ve fumbled an idea; when you maybe didn’t know what to do, and you chose wrong.

Accept your role in each endeavor; good, bad, right, wrong; be painfully honest with yourself and turn each stammer into an experience for learning.

Once you’ve integrated all of the parts of you, loving yourself fully, every single version, you will know peace.

You will know what it is to be alive.

You will be able to shut out the noise of the shoulds and shouldn’ts of society.

You will look in the mirror with compassion, in turn, looking at the world with a bit more love and compassion.

Getting to know you, the deep, dark, dirty versions of you, will set you free.

Your ripple will be freedom for everyone around you, most importantly, you will be the reason someone else can be themselves, fully.

Be honest.
