Ego

If we don’t listen to the lesson at hand, it will return.

If we don’t humble ourselves and shut down our ego, our life will still feel chaotic.

How do we determine which voice to adhere to?

Ego is fearful, the story it holds isn’t authentic to our soul’s purpose. Ego shares the reasons we shouldn’t move forward, most crafted from generations of limited experiences and beliefs.

Intuition feels right. Intuition feels like following a dimly lit road because we know it is for us. Deep within we know the truest answer.

Ego generates anxiety. All the lies we were told as children, the stories that were spun to keep us small.

When our intuition says no, but we do it anyway because we caved to the pressures of outside forces, ego wins.

When we leave a person who always leaves us feeling small, that is intuition.

When you go back to that person, because the story they tell you somehow beats reality, that is ego.

Ego is what keeps us up at night telling us we aren’t doing enough, aren’t good enough, or that we should just stay small to fit in.

Intuition is that little voice, screaming that we’re worthy of a beautiful life, waving her arms like a lunatic trying to get our attention.

We know the truth. We inherently know what is right.

Listen to your intuition. Lean into your dreams.
