With experience comes perspective, with perspective comes personal recognition of the limits set before us by outside forces.
How much of what you know to be true was given to you by experience of your own? How much was picked up along the way from others who haven’t even left the city they were born in?
If we give weight to the thoughts of people that we ourselves don’t agree with, what are we but a product of the things we don’t believe.
The trap is simple, close your eyes, shut your mouth, and blindly follow what is fed to you by minds that have been warped through generations. A warped reincarnation of stories that were never real to begin with.
Intuition tells us not to listen, but it makes its way into our psyche nonetheless. The challenge is this, separate the thoughts of others from your own, and spread only love.
Just because you recognize the truth, doesn’t mean the rest of the world is to follow, for this is another form of distillation of the truth. We perpetuate the trap if we think our thoughts are truth.
Instead, live your truth out loud; our greatest teachers are the ones who lead by example.
Nobody wants the answers to questions they never asked; the only way to initiate change around us is to live fully, following our knowing, and sharing our experiences.
Like a rock thrown into the water, our ripple reaches everyone around us, igniting curiosity from our actions.
Those who do teach, those who do not, preach.
If life is a classroom, be the student and the teacher; embody the teachings so other students may learn by watching you.
Every trap has a door, open it.
