Our stories, our memories, our written words, will be the only thing left of us once we are gone. I prefer to tell my own story.
-Sarah L Lane
Sarah L Lane was born on April 6th, 1991. Growing up in a military family, she was well traveled and lacked stability as a child. Diagnosed at a young age with severe ADHD, her childhood was filled with challenges in learning, relationships, and emotional outbursts weren't uncommon. As a child, she found writing to be an impactful resource to her and would often write down how she was feeling to get it off her chest. During her elementary school years, she fell in love with reading. Her love for reading began long before school and having access to the school library gave her more opportunities to explore many genres, titles, and authors. Adulthood brought new challenges, after losing her sister in a tragic accident, her best friend the following year, her cousin the year after that, and many other world shattering losses. Sarah struggled with addictions throughout her twenties. She got sober, began therapy, and learned how to cope through yoga, meditation, breath work, and writing.
