I follow along, head down, eyes up, clear conscience, while others meander about, careless.
As if the impact they leave behind, the endless trail of evidence that they exist solely for themselves, has no bearing on the state of the world around us.
I asked myself why; why do I let the other’s lack of well intentions bother me so?
The answer comes quickly; expectations exist within my mind without proper evidence to support them.
I remember that when I am outraged by the actions of others, I mirror the very behavior I fight against, like the standards for myself drop away.
Instead, I get the chance to be the mirror for others.
The more I show up, the more others may learn to show up too.
The epiphany is this, be the action you desire.
Be the highest version of yourself.
Look for the light, the light will follow.
